"I am pleased that our office is now located in Mansfeld," says Detlev Geissler, president of the European association "Routes of Reformation", after the move from Sangerhausen to Lutherstad Mansfeldt.

The association now has its headquarters at Junghuhnstraße 2, where the tourist information office already has its home. Mayor Andreas Koch underlines the historic dimension of the new, authentic seat: "Luther went to school here on this spot." The tourist information and the nearby museum "Luthers Elternhaus" are members of the association and are well connected with Routes of Reformation.

The Cultural Route of the Council of Europe Routes of Reformation has 40 members in eight countries. They are united by the goal of "depicting the European dimension of the Reformation," according to President Geissler. The places, sights and museums are to be made known by joint communication measures and public funding.
