Matouš Radimec has been working in the area of cultural heritage and its preservation since university studies. He started as a guide and co-manager of castle collections, later the daily operation of Barque theatre was the main part of the work. Between 2007-2015 he worked as analyst and evaluator of Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013 in South Bohemian region, especially of Priority Axis 3 – Development of Tourism in the region. Since the programme ended in 2015, Matouš Radimec has been working for Regional Development Agency of South Bohemia as project manager of activities related to preservation and development of cultural and natural heritage.
